This site came about as the result of a BYOAC group buy. A bunch of us got together and pooled funds to buy Classic Arcade Graffix's collection of arcade artwork.
As a courtesy to Classic Arcade Graffix and their customers we'd prefer not to turn around and give their product to the whole community for free straight away; doing so would completely devalue the artwork that they've put a serious amount of time and effort into and wouldn't be fair on them, or others that have bought the artwork as business investments (like MameMarquees). With this in mind, unregistered gallery visitors will only have access to low-resolution watermarked versions of the artwork.
Personally, I would like to encourage people considering having artwork printed to use MameMarquees' services; if you have a look over the BYOAC forum you'll find that they've always provided excellent products to the arcade builders community. |
