Neilyboy over on the BYOAC forum mentioned that he has some NOS Alpha Mission artwork coming his way soon and he'd like to scan it to share it here. Since this site was originally just for sharing the CAG artwork amongst the original member of the group buy, I never really thought of adding new content to it - but this sounds like a great idea!
So if anyone else has some scannable artwork that they'd like to share with the rest of the community, please drop me an email.
To match the rest of the artwork in the gallery, I'd suggest all scans be 400 DPI and saved as TIFFs using LZW compression or JPGs with quality set to 10 or higher. |

This site came about as the result of a BYOAC group buy. A bunch of us got together and pooled funds to buy Classic Arcade Graffix's collection of arcade artwork. As a courtesy to Classic Arcade Graffix and their customers we'd prefer not to turn around and give their product to the whole community for free straight away; doing so would completely devalue the artwork that they've put a serious amount of time and effort into and wouldn't be fair on them, or others that have bought the artwork as business investments (like MameMarquees). With this in mind, unregistered gallery visitors will only have access to low-resolution watermarked versions of the artwork.
Personally, I would like to encourage people considering having artwork printed to use MameMarquees' services; if you have a look over the BYOAC forum you'll find that they've always provided excellent products to the arcade builders community.

I'm currently uploading low resolution versions (for the general public) and full resolution jpegs of the original artwork. Due to bandwidth limits and other concerns, the full resolution images are only available to the original group of people that contributed to the group buy.
Update 6/15/07 : After way too much time spent sitting on my arse, I've uploaded all the O, P, Q, R, T, U and V folders! Hopefully next week I'll get the rest converted, uploaded and get this thing wrapped up. |

I've closed site registration, so whoever is in is in. All BYOAC members that contributed to the fund now have accounts and have full access to the gallery and forums.
Speaking of the gallery, thanks again to Screaming for getting it up and running exactly the way I had in mind; it took a lot of work on his part. I will begin uploading the artwork tomorrow and only logged-in members will have access to the full size images. |

I'm closing the temporary QuickForum that I put together and opening up the forum here for registered members. I'm only leaving registration open for a short time, so please register here - it's quick and painless.
